Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy is separate and distinct from Stillwater's general Privacy Policy. It addresses our obligations under Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada Senate Bill 370, and the consumer health data provisions of the Connecticut Data Privacy Act. This policy contains only the disclosures required under those laws. For all other information about how Stillwater handles your data, see our general Privacy Policy at seekstillwater.app/privacy.

1. Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to consumer health data we collect, use, or share in connection with your use of the Stillwater app. "Consumer health data" means personal information that identifies your past, present, or future physical or mental health status and is not otherwise regulated under HIPAA or the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.

2. Categories of Consumer Health Data We Collect

• Journal entries you write inside the app, including any text describing your emotional state, anxiety, mood, or wellbeing
• Text you enter into the "What do you need right now?" intent-routing field, when that text describes or implies a mental or emotional health status
• Technique usage data — which wellness exercises you complete and when, to the extent this reveals a behavioral or psychological intervention you engaged in

3. Purpose for Collection

We collect the categories of consumer health data listed above solely to:

• Store and display your journal entries back to you within the app
• Classify the intent of your routing-field input so we can suggest a relevant wellness technique
• Maintain your personal toolkit and let you track which techniques you've used

We do not collect, use, or infer consumer health data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the features described above.

4. Sources of Consumer Health Data

All consumer health data we collect comes directly from you, through your voluntary use of the app's journaling and intent-routing features. We do not purchase, license, or otherwise obtain consumer health data about you from any third-party source.

5. Categories of Consumer Health Data Shared, and With Whom

We do not sell consumer health data. We do not share consumer health data for advertising or marketing purposes. We share consumer health data only with the following specific service providers, and only as necessary to operate the app features you use:

• Supabase, Inc. — receives and stores journal entries, for the sole purpose of saving and displaying them back to you. Journal entries are never shared with any other party.
• Cloudflare, Inc. — receives text entered into the "What do you need right now?" routing field, acting solely as a secure network pass-through to Anthropic. Cloudflare does not store this text and does not receive journal entries.
• Anthropic, PBC — receives text entered into the "What do you need right now?" routing field, for the sole purpose of classifying your intent and returning a technique suggestion. Anthropic does not receive journal entries, does not use this text to train its models, and does not retain it beyond the processing window needed to return a classification.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Know what consumer health data we have collected about you
• Access the consumer health data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your consumer health data
• Withdraw your consent to our collection or processing of your consumer health data

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@seekstillwater.app, or use the in-app tools at Settings → Delete Account (full account and data deletion) or Settings → "Use AI to find tools" (withdraw consent to intent-routing processing specifically). We will respond to rights requests without undue delay.

7. How We Obtain Your Consent

We do not collect or process journal entries or routing-field text as consumer health data until you take a specific, affirmative action to do so. The first time you open the journal to write an entry, and the first time you use the "What do you need right now?" field, we show you a brief, standalone notice describing what will be collected, why, and who it may be shared with, and ask you to affirmatively agree before that specific feature is used. Creating an anonymous account on first app launch does not, by itself, involve the collection of any consumer health data. You may withdraw consent at any time as described in Section 6, without losing access to the app's core toolkit.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we begin collecting, using, or sharing new categories of consumer health data, or use existing consumer health data for a new purpose, we will update this policy and obtain your affirmative consent before doing so.
